50,000 people used to live there. Now it's a ghost town.

Well thank you Captain MacMillan
It would be nice if they added Ebonhawke to GW1 in an expansion, just so we could have an area of "Present" day Ascalon nearly, what? 10 years after the searing? Make it a quest that is only accessable after beating GW:EN. I personally wouldn't mind seeing some grass growing in that area.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone who recognizes this to reply. Apparently, not long.

One of the Titian quests indirectly addresses that, though nothing is physically changed.

All I can say is I hate ANet for waiting until the next game, at least, to clear up the fate of ascalon.
IMO after GWEN, our heroes should have killed all the char and returned to take the throne of Ascalon and producing a plethora of heirs due to a large harem.

Ebonhawk....that remind me Darth Revan´s ship in Kotor. And Post Searing Ascalon reminds me Korriban. Maybe Ante will introduce several references of this game into GW2?

Gwens "Then and Now, Here and There" quest takes you back to Ascalon and is set 8 years after the Searing. Nothing physically changes however the Charr have progressed hence foreshadowing Ascalons final fate.
